The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness and self-control—Galatians 5:22-23

The FrootBear Story

Behind the hills of Hallelujah Kingdom lives no ordinary bear named FB. One day while FB was flying his kite around Glory Gardens, he was spotted by Rudy—the troublemaker. When Rudy caught up with FB he jerked the string of his kite and caused it to crash into an oak tree. Rudy laughed and ran off.

"I wish it was Rudy stuck in this tree!" Shouted FB as he tried to climb up the oak tree. The kite was stuck between two branches. When FB reached for the string, he heard a voice say, "Rudy's behavior was rotten, but God's fruit of peace will free all that is stuck." FB quickly jumped down. He looked up at the tree and shouted, "Hey! You can talk!" Oakey the tree replied, "Indeed, I can!"

Oakey was the biggest oak tree in the garden and the keeper of God's fruit. Whenever God's Word was needed to produce the fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self-control, Oakey's heart glowed and the Word of God gave life to the tree. At that moment, a swift wind blew through the branches and shook the kite free. Oakey explained that Rudy's behavior was a chance for FB to grow the fruit of peace inside his heart which would spark a change in Rudy's heart.

Soon after, a relationship of love and trust develop between the two friends. FB decides to set out on a mission to help his friends grow in the fruit of God's Spirit, too! However, it's no easy task for the frootbearer; just as weeds choke out the beauty of a garden, so do the bad attitudes, selfish behavior and unkind words keep the friends from God's very best...a frootful life. So, come journey with the Galatians 5:22-23 Gang™ as every heart grows and bears fruit!
